Privacy.
Short version: the only information we collect is what you type into the Start form, and we use it to talk to you about a campaign. That's it.

What we collect
If you fill in the Start form, we collect what you enter:
- Business name
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number, if you choose to give one
- Business category
- What you're trying to improve
- The optional number of customers you enter
If you email us instead, we have your email and whatever you write in it.
Like any website, the servers that host this site keep standard technical records of requests — an IP address, a browser type, the page requested and the time. We don't use these for anything beyond keeping the site running.
The typefaces on this site are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
What we don't collect
No cookies. No analytics. No advertising or tracking pixels. No accounts. No mailing list. We don't build a profile of you and we don't track you across other websites.
What we use it for
One thing: to reply to you about a campaign. We don't add you to a list, we don't send marketing you didn't ask for, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who else can see it
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they process information on our behalf:
- Our hosting provider, which serves the pages
- Our database provider, which stores Start form submissions
- Our email provider, which handles our email
- Google Fonts, which serves the typefaces
Some of these providers may store or process information on servers outside Canada, which means it can be subject to the laws of those countries. Beyond these providers, we don't share your information with anyone unless we're legally required to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months so we can pick up a conversation where it left off, then delete them. If you become a customer, we keep what we need for as long as we're working together and for as long as Canadian tax and business records rules require.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mario@helpwandit.com and we'll do it. There's no form and no process to go through.
You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada if you think we've handled your information badly.
Security
Information you send through the form travels over an encrypted connection and is stored with our database provider. No system is perfectly secure, and we're not going to claim otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
